Test Lead to join Edda Group in Cluj

In this newly created Test lead position, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including designing test strategies and ensuring that high-quality software is delivered. As Test Lead, you’ll be part of the IT department, with colleagues in both Copenhagen and Cluj. You will report directly to the Group Chief of Technology and lead a small team consisting of testers. Additionally, you will have following tasks and responsibilities: Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy, encompassing both manual and automated test strategies Plan, design, and oversee the execution of test cases for new and existing features Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members ensuring optimal team performance Develop, maintain, and improve manual and automated test suites Ensure high-quality deliverables by identifying, reporting, and managing defects Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes  Implement and maintain automated test frameworks Evaluate and select tools to enhance automation efficiency Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and timelines Provide clear and concise updates on testing progress, risks, and issues Do you thrive in cross-functional and cross-border collaborations? For the Test Lead position, we are looking for a responsible and independent candidate, with strong English communication skills, written and spoken. We envision that you hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, supplemented by at least five years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing. In addition, you have at least three years of management experience and a proven ability to mentor and effectively lead teams. You are proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar, and you are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and integration with test frameworks. Want to know even more?
