Requirements
🎓 Education & General Skills
● University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline
● Strong problem-solving skills, fast comprehension of abstract domains, and a structured mindset
● Fluent in English (spoken and written)
● Awareness of Secure Coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., input validation, injection prevention, authentication/authorization patterns)
🛠 Technical Skills
● Solid experience with Java (17+) and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot
● Proficient in developing RESTful APIs, including validation, exception handling, and documentation (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger)
● Understanding of modular architectures, clean code principles, and software maintainability
● Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
● Familiarity with handling large data sets, batch processing, or computational pipelines
● Confident use of Git and CI/CD pipelines
● Basic knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and experience with deploying Java services
Nice to have:
● Experience with mathematical libraries, numerical methods, or risk/valuation engines ● Understanding of financial instruments and risk metrics is a plus but not requiredResponsibilities
