Requirements
- Proven track record as a Software Architect or Platform Architect, with experience in a leadership or strategic technical role
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience working with core AWS services
- Solid expertise in container orchestration technologies and serverless architectures
- Deep understanding of AWS networking fundamentals, including VPC
- Experience with Java and Node.js
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for managing complex, immutable infrastructure
- Proven track record of designing, deploying, and scaling high-traffic, multi-tenant, distributed SaaS platforms
- Expertise in defining, measuring, and reporting on SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs, including setting and managing error budgets
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or AWS CloudWatch
- At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

- Design and implement a secure, multi-tenant microservices architecture on AWS, including defining the tenancy model
- Ensure strict data isolation, scalability, resilience, automated recovery (RTO/RPO), multi-region failover, and comprehensive DR/BCP testing
- Own and manage the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline, creating a unified deployment framework that supports a single-core product across all clients through configuration-driven provisioning
- Drive automation for testing, deployment, and documentation generation
- Define, provision, and manage all cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Lead the development of platform acceleration scripts and standardized service templates to streamline engineering workflows
- Enforce technical standards around security, SLAs, and architecture by chairing a technical review board (TRB)
- Implement FinOps practices, including AWS cost allocation tagging, showback/chargeback dashboards, and automated cost optimization mechanisms
- Architect and oversee the centralized data lake/warehouse to unify campaign, creative, and user data across the platform
- Collaborate with the Product, AI, and Data teams to translate business requirements into scalable, future-proof technical designs

In this role, you will define the platform’s next-generation, multi-tenant architecture, ensuring high performance, strict data isolation, and seamless scalability across a complex ecosystem of integrations, from real-time billing and reporting to campaign orchestration and creative management. As the technical authority for the platform, you will guide architectural direction while enabling engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, cloud-native services on AWS. You will work in a high-load AdTech environment, designing the foundational infrastructure that powers automated provisioning, cross-client configuration management, and multi-region resiliency. This role includes modernizing legacy components into event-driven microservices, establishing CI/CD governance, shaping DevOps and FinOps practices, and enabling future integrations with advanced AI and machine learning capabilities. Together, we serve globally recognized clients such as TripAdvisor, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Opera, Dow Jones, etc. Project: We are building a white-label, self-serve advertising platform widely used by international media companies and publishers. It integrates with ad servers, CRMs, and payment systems, providing a unified interface for managing advertising campaigns. This system handles high volumes of real-time data and transactions, requiring extreme performance and stability.
