Requirements
7+ years of experience in SaaS development (with a focus on backend), Python, ElasticSearch, MySQL, and Redis
Strong experience with CI/CD (Github actions is a plus), and k8s/docker
Previous experience with Django/rest framework, Celery or RabbitMQ/AMQP
Comfortable making architectural decisions in a complex system
Taking ownership and delivering things on time and with high quality
Nice to have:
Knowledge of best practices in security (SQL injection, secure authentication, and DDoS) Software architecture: experience with and understanding of different architectures. We use a hexagonal architecture Experience in automated testing Experience in security (OSINT) or similar regulated fieldsResponsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services supporting the SAGA® platform
Design and implement scalable data processing structures and integrations
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance reliability and performance
Collaborate with front-end developers, analysts, and product owners to align system architecture with business needs
Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with internal standards
Document development processes, architectural decisions, and API specifications
Write code and cover it with unit and integration tests
