Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience (with 2+ years in a senior/lead role)
- Deep experience with Golang in production environments
- Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Strong communicator and team player with leadership instincts
- Startup mentality — autonomous, proactive, adaptable
Nice to have:
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals or experience working with indexers - Experience deploying containerized apps with Kubernetes - Contributions to open-source projects - Experience scaling infrastructure for high-throughput systems - Familiarity with smart contracts or decentralized protocolsResponsibilities
About the Role
You’ll lead the architecture of our core systems, mentor other engineers, and help us scale our infrastructure as our CTO transitions into a more R&D-heavy role. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys ownership, and wants to shape the technical direction of a product with real impact — this is your moment.
What You'll Do
- Lead backend development of our Golang-based APIs, indexers, and services
- Guide a small team of backend engineers (or help build one)
- Design and maintain scalable, cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, GCP)
- Implement secure and reliable CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Flux CD)
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate ideas into real features
- Keep performance, uptime, and reliability top of mind (Prometheus, Loki)
- Explore new tools and frameworks to keep us ahead of the curve
