Requirements
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer and/or iOS Developer
• Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS development (Xcode, iOS SDK, UIKit and/or SwiftUI)
• Solid experience with backend development using modern frameworks and languages (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of client–server architecture
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows
• Understanding of app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with third-party integrations (payments, analytics, external APIs)
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Experience debugging performance issues, memory management, and optimizing applications
Nice to have:
Experience working with mobile-first or consumer tech products • Previous startup or scale-up experience • Experience with e-commerce, payments, or social platforms • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of analytics, tracking, or event-based systemsResponsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift
• Build, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs that power mobile and web applications
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and founding teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Take ownership of features across the entire development lifecycle (planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance)
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (payments, analytics, external platforms)
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security across mobile and backend systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across the stack
• Implement and follow best practices for architecture, testing, and code quality
• Participate in technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and product evolution
• Support App Store releases, updates, and maintenance (certificates, provisioning, submissions)
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experience
• Work in an Agile / iterative development environment, contributing to sprint planning and reviews
