We are Soft Tehnica, a company with over 18 years of experience in developing software products. Always opened to every client challenge, to every employee point of view. Our main goal is to encourage innovation, creativity and teamwork and sustain a safe, friendly workplace where people can share their originality.

Can I choose the hardware? What is your coding setup (IDE, OS, Build server, Cloud provider)?
The hardware set-up is customised by your job requirements. Our coding set up is PHP Storm, Web Storm, the OS we are using includes Linux, OS X, Windows; the build server is running on Linux and we have a self-owned data center.

How can I grow as a developer at your company (career paths and learning opportunities)?
We are constantly organising certified trainings for our employees, while you have full access to an e-learning platform, 24/7. Our team managers are the first ones that are going to encourage you to learn new skills and grow, we highly appreciate passionate people, eager to develop their knowledge.
Do you prefer always writing your own software for everything or use frameworks if they fit?
You can use existing frameworks if they fit the task requirements.

How diverse are your teams? What is the typical team size and structure?
Diversity represents our company, as we have departments dedicated to our HoReCa & Retail software: Freya; we also have the custom software department and the augmented reality department, with very exciting projects! Team sizes vary from 8 to 20 people and we practice a flat hierarchy as we love autonomous employees.
Do you offer any helpful initiatives for parents with young children?
We are flexible with schedule, remote working and bring your kid to work days.
What is your remote work policy?
We would love to see you at the office and connect with your co-workers 4 days per week, but we are flexible on this matter.
If you do Agile - how is your agile process & release cycle? How much coding vs meetings/planning?
Work methodology vary depending the departament or project you will be part of. We like to keep at minimum the spent time in meetings, so your calendar should be mostly free to allow you to perform your daily tasks.
Do you have some in-house tech workshops or hackathons? Is there an educational budget?
We haven't set a specific limit for educational purpose, as we constantly organise trainings, courses or provide learning materials for our teams, considering their needs.
Can I work on my projects or open source for a part of time?
Feel free to spend your free time as you would love to, as long as your work performance here is not affected or creates a conflict of interest.
What do I need to do to buy a 50$ educational book on company expense?
